This is the only site that also has real stores in all major French cities. They sell all categoties of goods below, plus theatre tickets and, hi-fi, television, and photographic material.

The French magazine "Internet-Achat" selected the above four as the best
French sites for books on the basis of tests of availability, delivery, site
search engines, ease of use, security, and several other criteria.
Three of these sites also sell video cassettes and DVD's, as well as CDs.
Remember that French video is recorded in SECAM format, which is unreadable
on most foreign TV sets, and that the DVD's are usually "zone 2" which may
not work outside of Europe, unless you have a multi-zone DVD player. There
