Actually, we can't remember exactly what Cathy learned at La Ferme because she took her course here 15 years ago. She must have reached her goals, though, because she started teaching French at her local high school when she went back home. We can't take all the credit, because her French was already very good when she arrived. Like many mothers whose children are almost grown, Cathy had been planning to go back to work, but she was a little worried that her long dormant skills might not be up to standard. We are proud that her stay at La Ferme turned out to be just the confidence building refresher course that Cathy needed. At least that's what se told us when she visited us last Summer.
